Yeah, I kinda have a long name. You can call me Vyas.
I'm a software engineering enthusiast.
I've been learning about coding and building software for over 5 years.
I first started building 3D games using the Unity game engine when I was in 9th grade in 2016.
Fast forward to today, and I'm doing stuff all over the place from full-stack web development and learning AI to developing software for medical devices.
Today, I'm mainly focused on getting a Master's degree in AI at ASU.
As a hobby, I learn about the art of film and filmmaking.
Where I've Worked.
Software Engineer Intern, R&D @ Edwards Lifesciences
- Utilized the C# .NET ecosystem and Azure DevOps to develop the software inside HemoSphere: an advanced hemodynamic patient monitoring system used in Critical Care settings in more than 5000 hospitals around the world
- Employed C#, WPF, and gRPC to implement the GUI and algorithm integration of a new feature: the detection of sAS (Severe Aortic Stenosis) in patients
- Was the sole developer of MSAS (mock sAS server): a test tool developed with gRPC and Python used by the QA teams for the testing of the Aortic Stenosis Detection feature
- Crafted a Python script employing natural language processing to programmatically add trace relations for over 5000 SRD, SRS, and SDD documents in PTC Integrity, a software that records system and software requirements ensuring traceability and compliance (used by the FDA to review new releases). This project saved 70+ hours of manual labor.

React/TypeScript Intern @ IQM Corporation
- Crafted modern, performant, reliable code in TypeScript, React.js, Redux, SASS for the firm's flagship project: a suite of ad-campaign management web applications
- Collaborated in an agile scrum environment leveraging Git, BitBucket, Jira, and Jenkins for streamlined project management and version control
- Implemented critical UX features and bug fixes, resulting in significant improvements to clients' user experience
- Developed a complete overhaul of the main lead generation website (iqm.com) with Remix.js and Bootstrap

ASU Course Tracker
A way for students to track the number of seats available for any course at ASU.
PhotoShare
A photo-sharing application where users can create albums, post photos, tag their photos, view others' photos, like, comment, etc.
Twitch Chat Analyzer
Chrome extension that analyzes a twitch stream and reports a percentage positivity of the chat.
Pizza Shop
A pizza ordering system built for a fake pizza restaurant named "SunDevil Pizza".
CFG Parser
C++ program that reads and parses a context-free grammar. Outputs requested information about the grammar.
Simple Interpreter
A C++ program that interprets a simple language and executes the instructions specified by that program.
Shoot 'Em Up
Basic FPS game built with Unity. I initially planned on fully fleshing this game out and releasing on Steam, but I later became more interested in web dev.
The Burger Center
A landing page for a fake restaurant named "The Burger Center". Just wanted to practice my CSS and React skills.
Postman Clone
A very simple clone of postman that uses Axios to make requests.
